Head Student Team

Each year, a senior student (usually Year 13) is chosen to be the school’s Head Student. Since 1993-94, one or more deputies (of any gender) have also been appointed to provide assistance. The Head Student is an important position not just within the Sixth Form but within the wider school community – the Head Student chairs the Student Council, which meets each term and is a way for students from across the school to have their voices heard. The Head Student Team is also an instrumental part of the Sixth Form Student Voice team, playing a large role in the day-to-day running of the Sixth Form.
