Year 11 Celebration 2026
Year 11 Celebration 2026
As Year 11 finished their GCSE examinations, we brought everyone together for an end-of-Key Stage 4 celebration assembly and barbecue in the glorious summer sunshine. First, the hour-long assembly, led by Mr Gaskell and Mr Dargan. It was packed with memories from the past five years, as these Year 11 students completed their journey from boy to man. They are now ready for the next chapter in our Sixth Form.
The assembly had a wonderful blend of prize-giving, video presentations, and a touching photo tribute highlighting events, trips, musical performances and milestones throughout the students’ time at Isleworth & Syon. It was a fitting send-off that reflected the spirit, resilience, and achievements of this remarkable year group.
A number of students were recognised for their outstanding efforts and achievements, with a number of awards given out to those who have gone above and beyond over five years. One of the highlights of the assembly was a photo montage capturing the students’ growth from Year 7 to Year 11 – a touching visual reminder of just how far they’ve come. The event struck a perfect balance of emotion and humour, creating lasting memories for all involved.
Following the assembly, students enjoyed a celebratory barbecue in the sunny quad. They took the opportunity to thank their form tutors and teachers who have supported them throughout their individual journeys. A vibrant shirt-signing session rounded off the day, with many students designing elaborate, colourful tributes on the backs of their shirts – a testament to their creativity and camaraderie.
We look forward to welcoming our students back for Level 2 Results Day on Thursday 20 August, with a majority continuing their Isleworth & Syon journey as part of our Sixth Form in September. We wish every student the very best for their next chapter – whether continuing their studies with us or embarking on new adventures elsewhere. Once an Isleworthian, always an Isleworthian!
