  "Since leaving I&S, I have embarked on a career as an Actor. I've featured in television shows like ‘The Bay' (ITV), ‘Two Weeks To Live' (HBO Max) and ‘The Hardacres' (Channel 5). I also work on stage and radio."

  Taheen's pathway

  Studied vocational drama in Sixth Form before applying to drama schools. He studied acting at Bristol Old Vic drama school before starting his career.

  "Since leaving I&S, I earned international caps for my nation, played rugby in eight different countries, been awarded sport and academic scholarships for both my Bachelors and Masters degree and cofounded my own start-up."

  "I&S gave me the opportunity to pursue my academic and sporting ambitions, with staff going above and beyond. Coming from a disadvantaged background, I&S had support on offer to ensure I never missed out on opportunities that shaped me into the man I am today."

  Timur's pathway

  Timur studied at I&S all the way to the Sixth Form, taking advance of the Sports Leaders programme and the Duke of Edinburgh's Award along the way.

  "Since leaving I&S, I completed a Bachelor's degree, Master's degree and then PhD in neuroscience. I now work as a neuroscientist at the University of Oxford, researching the brain so I can make science more accessible to the wider public."

  "I&S gave me the privilege of learning from teachers who believed in me, challenged me, and pushed me beyond my comfort zone. That support built my confidence and resilience, but also the independence to develop into a scientist."

  Nasri's pathway

  After completing A levels at Isleworth & Syon's Sixth Form, Nasri continued his studies at University College London, one of the world's most prestigious research universities.

  "Since leaving I&S, I studied veterinary medicine at the Royal Veterinary Colleague in London for six years. I Qualified as a Veterinary Surgeon in 2019 working in Small Animal Practices in the Wiltshire area."

  "I&S gave me endless support getting to where I am. They believed in me, so I did, even when I failed at multiple hurdles. There were some challenging years at school, but, without their care, dedication and commitment I wouldn't have achieved what I have on my own."

  Charles' pathway

  Charles was Deputy Head Student while in the Sixth Form. His A levels in biology, chemistry and physics led him to his chosen career.

  "Since leaving I&S, I have pursued my dream of acting after being encouraged by the incredible performing arts team. I graduated from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts before making my professional stage debut in ‘Barnum: The Circus Musical' in 2026!"

  Sophie's pathway

  After joining from Brentford School for Sixth Form, Sophie was an integral part of performing arts in school. She also joined the National Youth Theatre after auditioning in school.

  Reece's pathway

  Reece is currently the first-team men's captain at Chelsea FC and is currently representing the England men's national team at the 2026 World Cup.

  He is widely considered the first-choice right-back for both teams. He has achieved many successes in his career, including lifting the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Conference League and the Club World Cup in a short space of time.

  Reece left school at the end of Year 9 to move to a school closer to Chelsea's training ground in Cobham. We were thrilled to welcome him back to school in September 2024.

  Sir Mo's pathway

  Mo is often referred to as the country's greatest-ever long-distance runner. Following his double Olympic gold medal (5,000m and 10,000m) in London 2012, he repeated the success in Rio, winning both distances by quite a margin. Mo has picked up countless other medals during his athletics career, including multiple World and European Championship honours.

  Mo attended Isleworth & Syon School for his Sixth Form years, moving from Feltham Community College in 1999 along with his then-coach, Alan Watkinson, who was also a P.E. teacher. During his time at the school, Mo's pedigree and prowess for crosscountry sport was apparent, and everyone in school was convinced that he would be a success.

  "Since leaving I&S, I have done two apprenticeships with world-leading organisations (Project Management and B2B Sales), got a degree, travelled to the US for work/projects, and sold healthcare solutions to FTSE 100 organisations."

  Luke's pathway

  After studying his A levels in the Sixth Form, Luke went down the apprenticeship route before getting a degree at Middlesex University.

  "Since leaving I&S, I studied at the University of Nottingham and graduated with a degree in architecture. I've been working as an Architectural Assistant for two years, where I use creativity and design skills every day."

  "I&S gave me the confidence to try new things and take on opportunities outside the classroom.

  I developed leadership, communication, and teamwork skills that have helped me in both university and my career."

  Alina's pathway

  Alina was Head Student during Year 13 after joining us in Year 12 from Heston. Her A levels in art, French and English literature led her to an architecture degree.

  Myles's pathway

  Like Reece James, Myles moved to Cobham at the end of Year 9 to pursue his football dreams, joining the Chelsea FC academy.

  He experienced great success at junior level, before signing a senior contract with Brentford FC. He then enjoyed good loan spells with Forest Green Rovers, Portsmouth and Swansea.

  A lively attacking midfielder, Myles signed for Oxford United last summer, where he made 19 appearances.

  "Since leaving I&S, I have travelled the world and set up an award-winning architecture practice. I studied at King's College, Cambridge amongst others and have had work published internationally. I have also taught architecture at university level."

  "I&S gave me the opportunity to explore a wide range of interests, encouraging and supporting curiosity in whatever direction. I&S afforded me the space to pursue these interests until they became the passions that still motivate me today."

  John's pathway

  After five years at school, John left to pursue a passion for architecture. 20 years later, he was instrumental in designing the school's Maths and English Block.
