Whole School Production 2026 - 'Treasure Island'

The Isleworth & Syon Whole School Production is a tradition going back over forty years. We are proud to have a rich history of putting on theatre-quality shows in our school hall, featuring students from Year 7 all the way to Year 13. Recent productions have included ‘It’s a Wonderful Life', ‘Macbeth’, and ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’.

This year’s production was an adaptation of the Robert Louis Stevenson classic novel, ‘Treasure Island’. The audience were invited to come aboard on an adventure to find lost treasure in the company of young Jim Hawkins and the legendary Long John Silver. Nearly 60 students took part in this ambitious production – on stage as actors and musicians, and backstage as technical crew, costume and lighting. This superb and fun production brought heroism, mutiny, gun battles, treasure – plus a puppet parrot and lots of pirates!

We were transported away from the winter rain on a rollicking adventure.

This was a brilliant showcase for Isleworth & Syon School, with a particularly young cast with many Year 7s for whom this was their first appearance on ourr stage. It would be unfair to single out individual performers, for this was a true ensemble effort. Indeed, audience feedback was overwhelmingly positive, as you can read for yourself below. Once again, you could see how key the performing arts are to the life of the school.
