Open Evening 2026

We really enjoyed the Open Evening and were very impressed with the whole experience. Everyone we spoke to was friendly and welcoming, and the students were engaging, confident and happy to talk about their experiences.

Monday 28 September was one of our favourite nights of the school year - our Open Evening. We opened our doors to prospective families so that they could see the wonderful work the school does on a daily basis. Over 100 student ambassadors gave up their evening to support the school as tour guides and curriculum helpers. Sixth Form student leaders were instrumental to the smooth running of the event, including managing the sign-in at reception and making sure the car park ran like clockwork.

During the evening, visitors heard from the Co-Headteachers about the values and ethos that is infused through nearly 400 years of history, including the range of outstanding opportunities, our exceptional teaching and learning, the superb pastoral care that looks after every child, plus the history and traditions that make us unique. Then, tours gave the visitors the opportunity to chat with staff and see departments in action – frankly, it was impossible not to be impressed by the school. An extra component this year saw the Year 5s and Year 6s on a special 'explorer hunt' around the school to collect stickers - each of which reflected a different value that makes an Isleworthian.

To showcase the school’s focus on the journey from Years 7 to 13, we were treated to two student speeches – Yusuf Hammad (Year 7) and Head Student Jia Mangat (Year 13) spoke eloquently and effectively about how the school has helped them succeed. It was especially impressive to hear Yusuf talk so confidently after only a few weeks at school!

During October, we are hosting some Open Morning tours. Please note that one of these is already closed due to demand so please do spread the word if you know anybody who may be interested in securing an I&S place for September 2027.
