Music Performance at Brentford FC

Brentford FC Music

Following on from our successful musical performance at the Royal Albert Hall earlier this term, we were delighted to send a band to Brentford Football Club last weekend. This was an incredibly unique opportunity to be involved in the pre-match entertainment before a Premier League game.

10 students were part of the group that performed in the Legends Lounge at the GTech Community Stadium before Brentford’s match against Leeds United. Students performed for an hour-and-a-half for fans, running through classic hits like Brentford favourite ‘Hey Jude’ and ‘Viva La Vida’ by Coldplay. A mini group of four students also performed for executives from both clubs in the boardroom during half time.

This was a phenomenal opportunity, especially considering many in the group are die-hard Brentford FC fans. Students also had a fantastic view to watch the match plus received a signed shirt from the players! We were so proud of the boys for their very professional performance – especially considering most of the group are in Years 9-11.

It is wonderful to see such talent blossoming at Isleworth & Syon School. Students are already eyeing up an exciting performance at the Allianz Stadium, Twickenham next term!
