Limitless Apprenticeship and Jobs Fair
To mark National Apprenticeship Week, a group of Year 10s headed to Hounslow House for the first-ever Limitless Apprenticeship and Jobs Fair. Organised by Hounslow Council, the aim of the event was to showcase exciting opportunities available for local young people. There were a huge range of employers and colleges present, including Heathrow Airport, Thames Water, the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) and West Thames College.
During the day, students found out about the varied range of apprenticeships and career pathways, as well as receiving tailored guidance and advice on preparing for employment. Student enjoyed interactive workshops on construction and artificial intelligence as well as learning about opportunities in apprenticeships, entry-level jobs and volunteering roles.
Students were superb throughout, showing excellent curiosity through thoughtful questions. It was great to see the boys’ confidence as they networked with those present. Everyone returned to school with valuable insights and information to support them as they plan their next steps.
