Head Students Elected for 2026-27

When students join our Sixth Form, they understand that this means taking on extra responsibility – both for their learning and taking a more active role in school life. To that end, we were delighted to have lots of applicants for the role of Head Student at the end of the Summer Term. These roles are given to Year 13 students

We were delighted to appoint Jiya Mangat (pictured first in the photo) as our Head Student. Jiya is the first female student in the school's history to hold this important leadership role independently - we know that she will live up to the task! She will be supported by three deputies - Christopher Edwards, Jonavon Pereira and Athar Rehman (pictured second, third and fourth respectively). Both have played an instrumental role in the life of the school as Senior House Ambassadors during Year 12; we cannot wait to see how they do as they step up in to their new positions. 

We know that all three of these students will be outstanding ambassadors next year. Part of their duties will be chairing the Student Council and liaising between the Sixth Form staff team and the students - keep an eye on this website next school year to see how they get on.
