Christmas Charity Drive 2025

As the end of term draws closer, we wanted to spread some festive cheer in school. Last Thursday, we took part in Christmas Jumper Day, with students able to wear a festive jumper underneath their school blazer! It really helped spread the festive spirit in school – you can see some fantastic efforts pictured right, and we’ll feature even more jumpers in the next newsletter, publishing on Thursday 18 December! The event was to raise money for the Save the Children charity, and the vital work they do for children worldwide. If families haven’t already and are able to donate to Save the Children, they can do so via SCOPAY.

Our Christmas Charity Drive once again supported the school’s chosen charity – a local project called ‘The Community Food Pantry’ at the BridgeLink Centre. Based on the Ivybridge estate, this important community initiative provides crucial support for those in need. This charity drive asked for donations of non-perishable food items and toiletries. Families were encouraged to donate as much as they could manage, and we were overwhelmed with the response! Senior House Ambassadors delivered the items earlier this week – we are very grateful to you all for your generosity. We see this as a fantastic lesson for students – to be altruistic, mature citizens who contribute to making people’s lives better. That ethos is at the heart of what makes an Isleworthian.
