Dear Parent/Carer,
'Talking Teens' Sessions - Year 9 and Year 10 Parents/Carers
We are delighted to offer an opportunity for Year 9 and 10 parents/carers to attend four 'Talking Teens' sessions which will be delivered by our trained members of staff. This is for parents/carers who were not able to attend the previous programme which we ran in the Autumn Term.
Attendees to the Autumn Term sessions commented very positively on the course:
- "Thank you for organising the sessions. It has been really wonderful to understand about teenage parenting."
- "[I have learned] how to handle situations especially sanctions, feelings and communication."
- "Safe environment to share with like-minded peers. Informative."
- "Good positive ideas to implement in my home environment. The whole course was very useful and insightful."
This course is for parents/carers who may be encountering challenges with their children as they reach their teenage years. The four sessions provide an opportunity to share those difficulties and offer some strategies on how best to manage your children during this important time.
Please see this information leaflet for more specific details. The course will be held in person at Isleworth & Syon School at these times:
- Wednesday 10 June, 6.00 - 7.00pm
- Wednesday 17 June, 6.00 - 7.00pm
- Wednesday 24 June, 6.00 - 7.00pm
- Wednesday 1 July, 6.00 - 7.00pm
If you would like to attend this course, please complete this form by 9.00am on Monday 8 June.
Thank you for your support.
Yours sincerely,
Isleworth & Syon School
