20 October 2026
Dear Parent/Carer,
Sixth Form Open Evening
Thursday 5 November, 6.00 - 7.30pm
Find your place. Discover your future.
The Open Evening
Throughout the evening, you will have the chance to explore departmental displays, meet subject teachers, and talk to current staff about courses, enrichment opportunities and life in the Sixth Form. Staff will be available in the dining hall and Sixth Form study area to answer questions and help students begin thinking about the exciting next stage of their educational journey.
This event marks the beginning of a programme of support designed to guide students through Year 11 and into post-16 education. Whether students already have a clear pathway in mind, or are still exploring their options, this evening is an important opportunity to discover the wide range of possibilities available and start planning for the future with confidence.
Making informed choices now can open doors later, and we know that students are most successful when schools and families work together to provide consistent advice, encouragement and guidance. Your involvement and support will play an important role in helping your son/ward make choices that are both ambitious and realistic.
