Progress & Partnership Day 2026 (Years 7-13)

Dear Parent/Carer,

Progress and Partnership Day (PPD) – Years 7-13
Friday 16 October 2026

We work hard in partnership with parents/carers to maximise students’ progress and raise achievement. Therefore, parents/carers of Years 7-13 are invited to meet a member of staff at our Progress & Partnership Day. At the meeting you will: 

• Discuss progress over the last academic year
• Prepare for the year ahead
• Receive the first report of the year, containing Attitude to Learning (A2L) and Independent Learning (IL) data. 

Please note that it is not a target-setting day. 

Normal lessons will be suspended on the day. Each student and their parent(s)/carer(s) will have a ten-minute meeting with a member of staff. Remote learning tasks will be set for all students. If students do not attend the meeting, they will not receive an attendance mark for that day. 

Please complete the online response form (sent via emailed letter) to indicate your preference for the meeting. If you have several students at school, please just complete one form for your youngest child - we will then attempt to co-ordinate your different appointments. We will try and accommodate your preferences but please note this cannot be guaranteed. 

The deadline for you to complete the form is 9.00am on Wednesday 30 September, or we will select the time for you. Confirmation of your precise time will be sent via email by Thursday 8 October. 

On the day, please sign in at the main hall at least ten minutes before the interview time. You will be issued with paperwork to complete as well as some important information. Students should attend in full school uniform. Please note that that parking locally is difficult during the school day, so we would encourage you to walk, cycle or use public transport. However, we will try and accommodate some visitor cars using the Church Road entrance.
