Our next charity appeal took place in March 2022, in aid of Comic Relief – to help combat poverty, violence and discrimination both in the UK and worldwide. This includes funding organisations that are supporting people right now in Ukraine, and those attempting to cross the border. To do this, we raised awareness and collected money through a series of small events on the day.

The whole school community was encouraged to make donations if they can. Cash donations were collected on the day during Study Support. There were also a limited number of 100% plastic-free red noses on sale which could be bought with a donation of £1.50.

Donations could also be made online via the Comic Relief donation page here.

On the day itself, several activities took place, including a KS3 treasure hunt and a University Challenge quiz between teachers and students! In total, the appeal raised £284.43 – a fantastic total. Thank you to our community for their generosity! These events are important as they teach students the importance of being considerate citizens – a key value for an Isleworthian.
